CUSTOMER ADVISORY BOARD ROADMAP PRESENTATION - Q1 2026
Strategic Context: Sharing our quarterly priorities and the rationale behind our feature sequencing
WHAT WE’RE BUILDING NEXT QUARTER
1. Performance Optimization - Making Your Daily Experience Better
Timeline: Weeks 1-6 (Early-Mid Q1)
What this means for you:
- Faster page loads and smoother interactions across the platform
- Better reliability during peak usage times
- Improved experience for your largest teams and datasets
Why we prioritized this:
Your feedback consistently highlights performance as a friction point, especially for power users managing large volumes of data. We’re addressing this before adding new features because performance issues compound as we scale.
What to expect:
- Week 1-3: Dashboard and reporting improvements go live
- Week 4-6: Backend infrastructure upgrades (you’ll notice continued improvements)
- Ongoing monitoring and optimization based on usage patterns
2. International Expansion Preparation - Opening Global Doors
Timeline: Weeks 4-10 (Mid-Late Q1)
What this means for you:
- Multi-currency support for global customers
- Timezone and date formatting for international teams
- Localization infrastructure (starting with core languages)
- Compliance frameworks for EU/APAC markets
Why we prioritized this:
Several of you have explicitly requested international capabilities to support your global operations. Rather than rushing a partial solution, we’re building the proper foundation.
Your input needed:
Which international markets are highest priority for your teams? What languages or regional requirements matter most?
3. Integrations Platform - Connecting Your Tech Stack
Timeline: Weeks 6-12 (Throughout Q1, launching late Q1)
What this means for you:
- Native integrations with tools you already use
- Webhook system for custom integrations
- API improvements for deeper connectivity
- Integration marketplace (launching Q2, foundation built Q1)
Why we prioritized this:
You’ve told us that manual data transfer between systems is a pain point. Our integration platform eliminates duplicate work and ensures your data flows where you need it.
Your input needed:
Which tools are must-haves for integration? We’re prioritizing based on your collective requests.
FEATURE PRIORITIZATION PHILOSOPHY
How We Decide What to Build
Your Voice Matters Most:
All three Q1 priorities came directly from advisory board feedback and support ticket analysis. Performance, international, and integrations were your top three requests.
Sequencing Logic:
- Performance first - Everything else works better on a solid foundation
- International + Integrations in parallel - Different teams, minimal dependency overlap
- Infrastructure before features - We build platforms, not one-off solutions
What We’re Deferring (And Why):
- Advanced AI features: Waiting until performance baseline is solid
- Mobile app enhancements: Prioritizing web experience where 85% of you spend your time
- Custom reporting v2: Planned for Q2 after current performance improvements prove out
TIMELINE TRANSPARENCY
Realistic Expectations
High Confidence (90%+):
- Performance improvements shipping Weeks 1-6
- Multi-currency support by Week 6
- Webhook platform by Week 8
Medium Confidence (70-80%):
- First native integrations by end of Q1
- Full localization infrastructure complete by Week 10
- May shift by 1-2 weeks based on technical complexity
Dependencies & Risks:
- Integration marketplace timing depends on webhook platform success
- International compliance work may require legal review that could add 1-2 weeks
- We’ll update you at mid-quarter if any delays emerge
Our Commitment:
We’ll communicate timeline changes immediately rather than surprising you at quarter-end.
HOW YOUR FEEDBACK SHAPES THE ROADMAP
What We Need From You Today
Prioritization Input:
- Which integrations are table-stakes for your teams? (Please rank your top 5)
- Which international markets do you need supported first?
- Are there performance issues we haven’t addressed that block your workflows?
Feature Validation:
- Would you be willing to beta test international features with your global teams?
- Can we observe how you currently handle multi-currency scenarios?
- What integration use cases should we design for first?
Ongoing Partnership:
- Monthly check-ins on progress (async updates + optional office hours)
- Early access to beta features before general release
- Direct channel to product team for urgent feedback
ANTICIPATED QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Q: Why not build AI features when competitors are heavily marketing AI?
A: We hear the competitive concern. Our decision is deliberate: AI features only deliver value on top of a performant, well-integrated platform. We’d rather ship AI in Q2 on solid infrastructure than rush something underwhelming in Q1. If you’re losing deals specifically because of AI capabilities, we need to hear that immediately.
Q: Can you accelerate the international timeline? We need it sooner.
A: Possibly, but it requires tradeoffs. To move international up by 3-4 weeks, we’d need to either: (a) reduce scope of initial language support, (b) defer some integration work to Q2, or (c) add engineering capacity. Which is most important to your team?
Q: How do we know performance improvements will actually work?
A: Fair question. We’re setting measurable targets:
- Dashboard load time: [Current: X seconds] → [Target: Y seconds]
- Report generation: [Current: X seconds] → [Target: Y seconds]
- 99th percentile response time: [Current: X ms] → [Target: Y ms]
We’ll share these metrics with you at mid-quarter (Week 6) and end-of-quarter.
Q: Can we get a preview or early access to these features?
A: Absolutely. We’ll offer beta access to advisory board members for all three initiatives:
- Performance improvements: Week 4 (beta for 2 weeks before general release)
- International features: Week 8 (beta for global teams)
- Integrations: Week 10 (beta access to webhook platform and first integrations)
EMAIL FOLLOW-UP (Pre-Read Version)
Subject: Q1 Roadmap: Performance, International Expansion, and Integrations
Hi Advisory Board Members,
Thank you for your continued partnership in shaping our product direction. Based on your feedback, we’re focusing Q1 2026 on three strategic priorities:
1. Performance Optimization (Weeks 1-6): Addressing your most common pain point - we’re making the platform noticeably faster and more reliable, especially for power users with large datasets.
2. International Expansion Prep (Weeks 4-10): Building the foundation you’ve requested - multi-currency, localization, and compliance frameworks to support your global operations.
3. Integrations Platform (Weeks 6-12): Eliminating manual data transfer by connecting your tech stack - webhooks, APIs, and native integrations with your most-used tools.
Why this sequence? Performance first ensures everything else works better. International and integrations run in parallel since they have minimal overlap. We’re building platforms, not one-off features.
What we need from you:
- Which integrations are must-haves for your team?
- Which international markets should we prioritize?
- Any performance blockers we haven’t addressed?
Beta access will be available for all three initiatives - we’ll send invitations as features become ready for testing.
Looking forward to our discussion.
